It has been a very busy week, tomorrow the GIB/plasterboard is going up,
it's going to look very different when that's done
I'm looking forward to sharing tomorrows update

More progress made today, many hands make light work, so they say. But it also means someone has to keep them occupied, which can, in this case, slow down other jobs.
However, much was achieved.
Two old decks, removed
Lots of work was done today, although I've no photos of all the clearing of so much stuff that was lying around everywhere
Luckily Joe didn't have to move it all himself, 3 fellas from Michael's rugby club provided the muscle, the filled 5 big trailer loads, more went in the skip which was picked up and replaced with another.
All the wood lying around has been stacked on the burn pile.
The old windows are now in a shed by the barn. Some of them will be reused in a glasshouse.
Now on to the exciting stuff...
How gorgeous is that!
More tomorrow

Every day, progress is being made. It's certainly going to be full on from now on.
Michael has been adding battens or spacers in this instance, on the outside of the house and craft room, these create a cavity behind the cladding for air circulation, reducing the risk of moisture forming.
Next stage is cladding.
'Front' of house
It's all very exciting and stressful at the same time, who needs sleep right?!!

PS thanks to those of you leaving comments here on the blog, much appreciated.
Only thing is they show as anonymous, which means I have no idea who you are! 😞
If you could add your name to your comment that would be great, thanks
Yesterday, Friday, the glazing arrived for the bay window
A few things going on, ie plumbers were back for more internal plumbing and outside taps; power and internet and water laid in a trench to the craft room.
Then today, Saturday, M & J started on removing the cladding. Earlier, before inwent out, it looked like this
This evening it looks like this, all wrapoed and new windows in
Loving the progress 👍

I was up at silly o'clock this morning, well it was silly for me! 😉 Why? Because the windows were being delivered this morning.
Exciting stuff, their arrival and installation means that it's all systems go for everything else yay!
Sorry about the link but I cant share as it did above
